I Love My Job!

Plein Air Lake Oswego 2016. This little lady is one of a pair of scarecrows that appear at Luscher Farm in October. The whole farm is festooned with an army of unique homemade scarecrows every year. What fun to stroll the community gardens enjoying the individual garden plots from Victory garden to cutting garden to Zen. And what difficult task I assigned myself, to choose a single scarecrow to portray. This gal just seemed so happy, I thought what a lovely job she has, to smile and welcome visitors, and keep the crops safe from marauding crows - and there ARE marauding murders of crows in those surrounding fields.
